This kind of injustice is destroying the African-American community and is creeping into other communities as well. The problem is multifaceted and is reaching all economic and racial groups. We need your help!!

Many of you have no doubt heard of abuses and misuse of authority by police officers, judges, prosecutors, attorneys. etc. Yet nothing seems to happen and it continues unchecked. Well, it is about time that we spoke up and let others know what is happening that causes a disproportionate number of young African-Americans to end up in our prison system. How can 13% of the population make up over 65% of the prison population. Is this a coincidence or is it by design??  Prison is a big business!!!

• Pick up the phone, write a letter, send an email - Anything that exposes this, or these kinds of injustices, will do everyone good!
• Write or call your elected officials and ask the question – “Why is this being allowed to happen and what are you going to do about it?
• Why are police officers allowed to make damaging statements about black defendants with the excuse “my tape recorder malfunctioned.?”
• What can be done about police misconduct, judicial and prosecutorial misconduct?
• What can be done to ensure equal justice for all men - black and white, rich and poor?
